Web 2.0 explained in under 5 minutes

In case you haven't seen it yet, I just had to share this video on web 2.0 with you. I thought it did a good job trying to capture the essence of web 2.0. Sure it's not perfect but it's still pretty cool.

I wonder how the application of video will evolve in the web 2.0+ world... We see signs of the possibilities with SecondLife. What do you think? After all, this web 2.0 stuff is about interaction isn't it? And don't we as humans primarily interact visually?

Here's an interesting article on virtual worlds for collaboration.

A fascinating video, and one with many sentiments and ideas I agree with wholeheartedly. I think this will really take off as the generation just coming into the work force comes into their own. The current generation in power is rather dominated by their desktop; if they know how to use it. Netvibes and the like are somewhat beyond their comprehension and escape their interest. Only problem is I wish I had more time to read all of these blogs. So much information, so little time - even with tools like RSS, netvibes and sites like popurls.com to help me. Thanks for the pointer to this, Rex. Tim
